Some studies suggest that up to 70% of all of our thoughts are negative. Same goes for the thoughts directed at ourselves. We are quick to notice another imperfection in the mirror. We often brush off compliments from others. We regularly mull over something we wish we hadn’t said or done. Let’s stop it!
Think of 5 things you appreciate about yourself – right now. Allow yourself to feel good about those things, even if just for a few moments. Consider repeating this exercise right before bed and first thing in the morning. You might be surprised how a little self-appreciation can transform your day.
